CareerLaunch

CareerLaunch prepares teens for the world of careers and work. Through CareerLaunch, Club teens 13-18 years old embark on a journey to explore possible vocations, make sound educational decisions and find success in the world of work.

CareerLaunch: STEM

Building upon CareerLaunch curriculum, CareerLaunch: STEM focuses on career exploration and job readiness specific to the STEM field, using Science Club curriculum. Each week, members participate in hands-on experiments, activities and multi-stage projects alongside staff and mentors, covering topics from biomedical engineering to the physics of sound. During this program, members also explore the potential careers associated with each topic, and the educational paths necessary to succeed.

Money Matters

Money Matters promotes financial responsibility and independence among Club members ages 13 to 18. Participants learn how to manage a checking account, create a budget, save and invest, start small businesses and pay for college.

ImageMakers

ImageMakers is a year-round program that helps Club members learn the art and science of photography through multiple categories: Culture and Tradition, Portraits, Nature and Surroundings, Fashion and Style, and Editing and Filter. Photographs are displayed at local and regional exhibits around the world.

DramaMatters Afterschool

DramaMatters Afterschool is a drama education program for Clubs that encourages members ages 6 to 18 to engage in hands-on activities. Drama education builds self-confidence, sparks creativity and boosts academic achievement. 

Project Learn

Project Learn harnesses the full spectrum of Club spaces and programs to foster high-yield learning activities. These include leisure reading, writing exercises, engaging discussions with informed adults, community service, homework assistance, tutoring, and cognitive skill-building games for youth development.

diplomas2Degrees

diplomas2Degrees (d2D), a college readiness program, provides a range of services to guide Club members as they work toward high school graduation and prepare for post-secondary education and career success. d2D helps teens develop both short- and long-term goals, while familiarizing them with post-secondary education through experiences like college tours. 

Summer Brain Gain

Summer Brain Gain is comprised of one-week modules with fun, themed activities for elementary school, middle school and high school students that are aligned with common core anchor standards.

power hour

Power Hour: Making Minutes Count provides Club professionals with the strategies, activities, resources and information to create an engaging homework help and tutoring program that encourages Club members of every age to become self-directed learners.

MusicMakers

MusicMakers inspires young people to produce music, and to create their life's soundtrack. This program promotes young people's natural love of music and increases their appreciation of this art form while building their skills so they can express themselves using instruments such as the guitar or drums. 

Lyricism 101

Lyricism 101 is a program designed to cultivate and amplify the powerful, formidable voices of Club teens. The program gives teens an opportunity to tell their stories, build community and express their artistic visions through the music of hip-hop culture and the culture of the cipher.
